I would tell him how I feel about the situation (either for or against it) but not order him around. After all he is an adult. Also make it clear to him that there are consequences for every decision.

Exactly. Whenever I've upgraded my iPhone early, I always recoup nearly 100% of the upgrade cost by selling the old iPhone on Craigslist. This change doesn't mean much to me.
And not sure why everyone hates AT&T. I live in Boston...I always have 4+ bars of service. I pay my bill online every month with zero problems. Not sure what the big deal is...

Very cool. Though I still can't see something like this reaching its full potential without a pressure sensitive stylus.
I disagree. There are plenty of people working with PS using just a mouse, which isn't pressure sensitive. Remember in the keynote demo of Garage Band, it was mentioned that Apple accomplished touch-sensitivity when you play an instrument by utilizing the accelerometer. I assume it could be the same for an imaging program.

I didn't make a threat to murder. I guess that shows how intelligent you are. As a law student I believe in exercising my legal rights to their fullest extent. I hope this means we will see HDMI out on the next MacBook Pros. I really want to be able to use my soon-to-be-had MacBook Pro Core2Duo as a media center too. With that said, here's to hoping the new MBPs have HDMI and the ability to output Dolby PLII and at least 1080i. My current 1.25ghz G4 book chokes on 720p so I never hook it up to my plasma HDTV.

The front end issues will likely continue for most of the season, it seems to be a trait with the bike, not a setup problem.

This is the first MWSF in years where there is not a single product, hardware or software, that is ready to ship today.
It's so dissapointing that there was no Leopard, iWork, iLife, not to mention the lack of any actual computer hardware updates.
Like others have mentioned, I care little for AppleTV and a phone that might not be available to buy where I live (UK) for nearly a year. Don't even know why he bothered mentioning a product that won't be ready to ship in any region for half a year, much less spending 90 minutes of a keynote on it.

?Because there will usually be an app available for both. It's not the os being different. It's screen size and resolution that there is distinction.
They are basically the same, just slightly different layout for the iPad.
What you're saying makes no sense. If they're the same, why do they need different versions of the same application? Do different versions of the same application exist for the different flavors of windows 7? Are there different versions of the same application for laptops and desktop computers?

Come on guys! We gotta get crankin' out WUs again! We seem to have lost a lot of that steam that we had a month or two ago. Losing bigadv for OS X has been an issue, hopefully we will get a new client soon!
I am disappointed that my output has dropped, especially over the last few days...I reformatted my computer, but I should be back up now. In a few weeks, after I am done with this Final Cut project, I might boot into Windows and crank out some bigadvs + GPU to give us a boost.
