Hi,
In the process of renewing EAD, I realized that I got 2 EAD cards. One is through my own i-485. The second one was piggy-back from my spouse's i-485. To renew it, should I renew both?
The reason of two i-485 is a long story. Mine is EB-2, thus shorter retrogression. But back then, my job was shaky. At a matter of fact, I left the company before 180 days after i-485. I got I-140 later from the employer though.
So i applied another i-485 with my spouse's EB-3 i-485, thus another EAD.
I don't want to abandon my I-485 or my spouse's I-485. Should I apply to renew both EADs?

My husband and I are in a big Dilemma whether to apply for EAD or AP? In the lawyer's note,it says that anyone who is I-140 Beneficiary will not be able to use EAD and AP. Is it true?
We are on our 3 years H1/H4 using I-140 benefits only. What should we do?
Please guide us.
We still have 3 years remaining. Problem - We both have no visa stamping after we got our extentions which why AP is required at this point?
Are there any travel restrictions after we file I-1485 with AP or WITHOUT AP.
Please highlight. Will be very useful for us.

My labor/I-140 documents show my salary to be 85K, I am yet to receive my I-140 approval from Nebraska Processing Center, filed in June 2006 under EB-2. Would it cause any problems when I file my I-485 ( priority date March 2004 ) next year if the salary for 2006 is less than 85K ? I was unemployed for two months this year unexpectedly. Thank you for your responses.

please post your experiences regarding recent RFEs for EB2 and EB3 to EB2 conversions. please include details regarding what the RFE was issued for. I am startng this thread because I am hearing different things from different people saying EB2 is being scrutinized more(especially EB3 to EB2 conversions) and this is resulting in more RFEs. I need every body who received RFEs recently to comment on it so that we can arrive at an accurate assessment. I am expecting that EB2 India/ China will continue advancing in the next few months. this will indirectly benefit EB3 India also as there will be unused visa numbers that will overflow into EB3, but the only problem is if applications are scrutinized, then the RFEs may delay processing for many people with earlier PDs even if their date becomes current.

Total 18166 ROW PERM certified( including expired ones). Max 60% will fall into EB2 that mean total 11K ROW(EB2).

You can file for FOIA to get it from USCIS if attorney is not cooperative. When was the labor filed? How much time it took to get approved.Just to get an idea on the timelines USCIS working on labor these days
