Earlier today, a MacRumors reader notified us that the white iPhone 4 is ever so slightly larger than the black iPhone 4. It's a small difference, but enough that the white iPhone 4 wouldn't fit in his Incase slider case:Just picked up the white iPhone 4 and realized it doesn't fit into my Incase slider case. It appears that Apple has increased the size of the plastic that borders the glass on both sides by about 1mm.

Reports are Cryer gets $1 million per. These figures include what they make on syndication too.
The that would bring the total between them to $80 million, which leaves everyone else with $20 million. That hardly seems OK or reasonable. There are a lot more people to pay and after that, what's left? I'd tell the guy to take a hike, especially with all the trouble he's caused.

1) Not really. The current quarter beat expectations. The worry is about the coming quarter.
2) iPod sales are not dropping. Unit growth rate was lower.
3) MacWorld announcements really don't matter.
4) Define spectacular.
5) Lower than who expected?
6) The China market issue is unresolved.
7) iTunes is not a major profit center for Apple.
8) Possibly, but see above.
9) Possibly, but see above. And this is also old news, which did not hurt the share price when it came out.
10) Apple's margins were way up in the quarter.

Bottom line: It's not always possible to rationally explain why the market does what it does on a short-term basis.

iAdware apparently works by silently installing a system library. That sounds like a vulnerability that Apple could easily fix, by requiring Admin privileges, issuing a warning, and/or prompting for an Admin password.

I scanned chrmjenkins, and he is a villager.
Someone asked about my first scan, and unfortunately that was Appleguy123, who was killed before I had the nerve to out myself.
Ok guys, now you know I'm clean. It's still possible that aggie could be the wolf who is trying to buy (my) our trust.
Since eldiablojoe was alpha, we have to ask who he would infect among the rest of us. It's really a toss up. Aggie makes sense, especially if he was able to scan and kill the hunter and then name me clean because he knew I had to be.
Also makes sense to infect hunter, but I don't even know if he is still alive.

I think everyone should not forget that Microsoft is rich, and to apologist going "HA! Apple is rich as well", perhaps the point should be made that Microsoft is way richer.
Remember Palm? It used to be the top handheld, where is it today?
Even Sony's PS is slowly on its way down, afterall the marketshare that Microsoft is gaining, albeit tiny, is what used to be Sony's!
Trouble is Microsoft has a B$ monopoly going for it in the OS and office productivity markets, they can easily afford to blow billions to make Zune work. Heck, they blown hundreds of millions literally on a whim to stand up against the EU (on principle of their evilness!), I don't see why they won't blow at least as much cash on a line that'd effectively cripple their next competitor in the other market (MacOS vs Vista).
Without all that extra slush funds from iPod sales Apple would be hard pressed to keep the quarterlies up, that said I really hope to get an ultimate cool iPod this Paris expo :D

Mac users have found virtualization solutions such as Parallels Desktop a good way to switch between Mac OS X and Windows. However, Google's plan is to control OS's because they then make money from their App store and adverts

Having worked very closely with the head engineers of AT&T, I do feel sorry for them. As someone stated earlier, that are spending billions to upgrade the network, but all that money will only meet current demand in some areas. The iPhone is such an incredible success that AT&T never had a chance. The same would be said about Verizon had they got the exclusive contract. If you want to lay the blame at anyones feet, it should be Apple. They should have made a CDMA version and split the load between the networks.
That's actually a very intelegent point. I hate AT&T for their price gouging and service but I would bet we would've said the same about Verizon if they got the exclusivity too three years ago.
The blame really is with Apple on this whole mess. Open up the rights to other carriers and give the customers the option between the big 3. At&t was an alienating decision.

Apple is evil, so is samsung. Why anyone would have an emotional yearning for one company above another is beyond me, both companies would gladly take all your money for nothing if you let them.

Amazon sells even cheaper songs... ???... profit?
??? = getting customers to Amazon.com where they will most likely buy some of the bazillion other things that Amazon sells. Same reason that brick & mortar stores use loss leaders (to drive traffic into their store).

I've been using Parallels for running VISTA and Win XP but today I found the link for the Vmware Beta Download that has only from what I understand been handed out to some for testing.
Here is the link that I downloaded the beta from:

I�m running it and works well. I know it�s in Beta but already after installing and running our Full copy of Vista and Win XP on Fusion, I�m going to stick with Vmware.
Now, right now it�s free, and not sure if it will cost money down the road for Vmware, but this one is free but only perk to Vmware is that the �Vmware� logo pop up as a water mark on the screen every now and then. Hasesnt really bothered me.
Anyways, good luck if you try it out.
Can�t wait for the full release free or not, will probably get it.

The rest of the design is not so bad but I wish Apple would get over the urge to make things look like their physical incarnations. I know there is a name for this but it escapes me at the moment.
